Conditional Averages
Below the bar chart is a series of tables displaying conditional averages of the S&P 500 using heatmaps. The top-most table contains the aggregated conditional average, ‘All’, which is the average of all conditional averages (less holidays). The heatmap color in this table immediately gives a sense of the conditional averages across all indicators for the S&P 500.
Below the ‘All’ table is a series of tables, representing the different types of indicators available: Time, Price, Technical and Economic. The top of the tables include the aggregated conditional average for that group. Below the aggregated row are the individual indicators showing the conditional averages for each condition of that indicator – the highlighted cell is the current condition. Hovering over any heatmap cell will give the condition and average value as well.
