Conditional Statistics™ is our exclusive offering of a patent-pending approach to stock analysis where price data is analyzed under defined conditions. Instead of looking at overall trends, this method focuses on understanding relationships and patterns of various stock price indicators, providing detailed insights into how specific factors may influence outcomes.

The Patterns ID app is a work in progress with ongoing development of existing pages and features alongside the creation of new pages and tools. The app resources are mostly stable but occasional bugs occur that are generally resolved same day.

The Dashboard page serves as a central hub for individual stock information. It features a chart displaying the closing prices over the last year and a table providing Conditional Statistics™ based on the same period. Data is updated daily shortly after 4pm PT.

The Min Max page highlights the largest outliers in Conditional Statistics™ across the S&P 500. It includes a chart displaying the closing index price over the last year and tables showcasing the largest and smallest average daily return values of all Conditional Statistics™ based on the past year's data. Data is updated daily shortly after 4pm PT.

The Sectors page displays the indexed (same starting value) price history of the S&P 500 sectors and is accompanied with a table showing Conditional Statistics™ by sector, calculated by averaging across all stocks within a sector. Data is updated daily shortly after 4pm PT.

The Screener page offers a robust stock screening experience that goes beyond standard indicator values. Leverage Conditional Statistics™ to filter stocks based on conditional averages, median values, standard deviation, and minimum and maximum figures. Results include all Conditional Statistics™ that meet the screening requirements.

The price data analyzed with Conditional Statistics™ is daily and weekly percent change using split-adjusted closing prices.

The S&P500 constituents are currently available.

A daily process runs at 4pm Pacific Time to update prices and calculate Conditional Statistics™ for the next day. This process updates all data across the app.

Yes! The percentage change values used in computing Conditional Statistics™ represent the next day's returns (tomorrow's close - today's close) relative to today's values. Therefore, when examining the average price percentage change within a specific condition, it reflects the anticipated forward price percentage change.
